Booking Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to book with SunVelo Limited. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Prices
The price of group cycling and accommodation booking includes half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner) and availability of a cycling based activity on each full day of your stay. SunVelo reserve the right to change bike activities based on weather and road conditions and individual abilities of the rider.
Acceptance of Children
We welcome children to attend SunVelo holidays with their parents. The minimum age to join a group riding activity is 16 years of age.
Payment
Telephone reservations can be made by calling the SunVelo office on 01432 860609 but confirmation of your booking will not be made until a booking form is completed and full payment is received at least 30 days prior to your arrival. Exceptions can be made on an individual basis as agreed in writing with an individual representing themselves or a group with SunVelo.
Cancellation and Insurance
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and 15% of your total booking price will be non-refundable if you cancel more than 31 days prior todeparture . If you cancel your booking 10 days to 30 days prior to your arrival 60% of your total booking price will be non-refundable. If you cancel a booking within 10 days of your arrival, you are liable to pay for the booking in full and you should defer to the terms and conditions of your holiday insurance to seek reimbursement. We recommend your holiday insurance includes cancellation coverage.
It is a condition of your booking that you have travel insurance that covers road cycling related activity and that these documents with emergency telephone numbers are made available to SunVelo staff on arrival at your holiday.
Road Transportation
SunVelo does not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury whilst using road transportation to or from cycling activities. This includes any delay due to mechanical breakdown or traffic related incidents. SunVelo will do its best to provide alternative travel arrangements should such incidents arise.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival
Your accommodation will be available to you from 1:30 on the day of arrival, unless you have contacted us to arrange an earlier check-in time at the time of booking.
Departure
Please vacate your room by 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. You are liable for any extras charged to your room at the time of checkout.
Liability and safety
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any cycles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. You are responsible for safe and responsible behaviour whilst taking part in SunVelo organised cycling groups. You are required at all times to where a cycling helmet when riding with an organised SunVelo cycling group. When hiring a bicycle it is provided to you in a fit and working state to undertake road cycling, it is your responsibility during the period of cycle hire that you maintain the bicycle in this same state. Any changes in the working condition of the bike should immediately be reported to SunVelo staff
Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored securely on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
